Spatial Manager™ for AutoCAD is an awesome AutoCAD plug-in designed for AutoCAD users who need to import and manage spatial data in a simple, fast and inexpensive way, that includes many possibilities not seen so far in AutoCAD. It comes in a lightweight application that runs inside AutoCAD and that allows the user to import geospatial data from spatial files, or spatial data servers, into AutoCAD drawings, and includes the following most important features:

  • Import features in AutoCAD drawings directly from ( see current available Providers ):
    • Spatial data files (SHP, GPX, KML, OSM, MIF/MID, TAB, E00, SQLite, ASCII points, ...)
    • Spatial database servers or data stores (SQL Server Spatial, PostGIS, WFS, ...)
    • Spatial ODBC points or WKB connections (Excel, Access, dBase...)
  • Objects imported into a new or open drawing
  • Select the target layer when importing or choose creating new layers using a field value
  • Transform geometries using your favorite coordinate systems
  • Import data from tables as Extended Entity Data (EED)
  • Extended Entity Data (EED) viewer panel
  • Customize imported objects or improve graphic information using blocks, fills and transparencies, centroids, and more
  • Manage your own shortcuts and data sources
  • Data sources properties panel
  • All main functions included in a handy AutoCAD panel
  • Runs in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc. ( see current Compatible AutoCAD applications )
  • Incorporates the same import engine and the same internal structure as Spatial Manager Desktop™ and therefore, it uses its own data Providers
